How slick is this?

Dell OptiPlex 5000 SFF Desktop Computer (Renewed) - $550
  • i7-12700 (12C / 20T, 2.1-4.9 GHz, 25 MB)
  • 16GB dual-channel DDR4 RAM (2 x 8 GB), 128 GB max
  • 512GB SSD M.2 2230/2280
  • NVMe, Class 35
  • DVD-Writer
  • UHD Graphics 770
  • Windows 10 Pro (includes Windows 11 Pro License)

Here's the spec sheet: https://dl.dell.com/content/manua...uage=en-us

I'm not interested in gaming, but I do run some engineering software that would benefit from the i7-12700's good single thread performance.

Here's another option that seems pretty comparable. Is it a better deal?

Lenovo Legion T5 26ARA8 Desktop (Renewed)
  • AMD Ryzen 5 7600 (8C / 16T, 3.8 / 5.1GHz, 6MB L2 / 32MB L3)
  • NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 8GB GDDR6
  • 2x 8GB UDIMM DDR5-5600
  • 512GB SSD M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0x4 NVMe
  • Windows 11 Home
https://www.amazon.com/Dell-OptiP...B0BVXRN8JG
Here's a spec sheet: https://psref.lenovo.com/syspool/...8_Spec.pdf

The Ryzen 5 benchmarks are pretty close to the i7. The Lenovo has better graphics and slightly faster RAM. The Dell has an optical drive and maybe better build quality? The Dell has 10 USB ports vs 6 on the Lenovo.

Thanks!
