The SE is an excellent phone. It's a nice move up from the X. To me, it's one of the best bang for the buck phones out there regardless of iPhone or Android. I'm happy with mine, but my daily driver is a Pixel with the larger screen. I use the SE for my outdoor activities like hiking and kayaking. Very good camera, excellent speakers too. The 60 day unlock with Verizon is bonus.

The biggest selling point of this line is the TouchID. If you have no problem with FaceID, there'll be no point to upgrade. For me, I exclusively only look for SE phones now because I hated FaceID, as it was so stupid and annoying.

Is unlocking phone independent of canceling plan?

For example, I am a current Verizon customer and plan to continue with my plan, but would prefer to have an unlocked phone to keep my options open should I decide to switch carriers. In this case, can I just insert H2O SIM before turning on phone for the first time to unlock phone and then continue to use phone with Verizon? Would I put the Verizon SIM card back into the phone after unlocking with H2O SIM card?

Can you use this unlocking method with H2O in general with ALL new phones as long as you install H2O SIM card before turning on phone for the first time? Or does this only work after you've paid off your phone?

How did you guys pay off the balance with a non-Verizon phone? Whenever I call from non-Verizon number, assistant says I am not a Verizon customer so it can't proceed with the call.

I was able to call the 800 number, got connected to a representative and paid off the device, but my Walmart order status still shows as Label created Big Grin hope Walmart won't mess up the delivery. I hope it's safe to cancel the line too.

Did you call from a non-Verizon number? Somehow it's not allowing me to go past saying you don't have a Verizon number.
