Those connections screech very bad. Strongly recommend putting some nylon washers between all contact points.

I bought Rest Haven's all metal platform bed last week and found rust on the metal. Returned it back to WM. If you buy this, check for any rust as soon as it is delivered.

Those connections screech very bad. Strongly recommend putting some nylon washers between all contact points.

I bought Rest Haven's all metal platform bed last week and found rust on the metal. Returned it back to WM. If you buy this, check for any rust as soon as it is delivered.

This is a solid bed but it's all steel square tube. Can be squeaky based on activities.

I have this bed in a queen size and paid $149 plus tax through Amazon. Yes, it does make some noise and they do give some nylon spacers in the kit. It looks pretty good in my bedroom and I don't have a problem with the footboard as it is below the mattress level. At this price, I would recommend buying it but spend some time assembling it properly. And also, it is high enough off the ground and there is space for storage underneath the bed. One more advantage, it does not use wooden slats to hold up the mattress, but steel supports work very well for me.
