They really shot themselves in the foot with this overpriced storage. I intended to get one once the price became reasonable. But since adding a 2TB external SSD, I realize I can manage with the included storage.

I don't like waiting for games to transfer or download so I bought this when it dropped and also have an 8 TB SSD for previous gen games on my main XSX. Got this same deal last week so I copped one for my Galaxy edition XSX that's shipping next month. Got a leftover 12 TB HDD that's going to be put into service for previous gen games.

Yeah it's still really annoying to have to shift stuff around all the time. I literally buy less games these days because I just don't have the internal space and I hate waiting on games to move back n forth.

yeah, in all fairness even at this price t's about $60-$70 too much compared to a 2tb gen 4 nvme..
however this and the wd one are the only game in town and these don't go on sale that often and compared to it's normal price, this is a pretty good deal.

Agreed. I had a chance to buy a 1TB for $60 locally and passed, even at that steep discount. Went in and cleaned up my internal and 2TB external from games I was "hoarding" but will never miss, and now I'm sitting at about 55% free space on both. It's not like anyone is playing 100 games at once. If I change my mind, I can always re-download.
