Be aware that these are very small. Most advertising photos do not show them with any other objects for scale. The only photo I could find that really showed the scale was this one on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/photo/?f...0950840286

This size of clamps is mostly useful for small hobby type work. They usually aren't big enough and don't clamp tight enough for normal woodworking use. Can be handy for holding small pieces while working on them.

Jorgensen makes some similar in size but stronger clamps, overpriced everywhere except at Lowes, where they are two for $14.98: https://www.lowes.com/pd/Jorgense...5014221371

Yup. I almost made this mistake. the 4.25" thing was setting off alarm bells in my head...so I looked at the pictures from the amazon reviews. These clamps are about the size of a very small cell phone. Think "deck of cards". Unless you're clamping two post it notes together, these probably won't work.

These are handy little tings...but they don't really have a lot of clamping force. Just have to be cognizant of their limitations and appropriate use cases.

I recently bought the harbor freight version for a project. They are not worth the dollar I spent a piece on them. Pointless useless garbage.

I'll pick these up instead. Thx.

I find these helpful just to hold pieces in place while putting a screw or nail in. They are nice to use as an extra hand basically. They are definitely not for doing glue ups or anything that needs a lot of pressure. But, they are nice because they stay out of the way, being so small.

You can also hold a piece in the clamp, then use another clamp at right angles on the tail of the first clamp to make it into a stand. Use another to hold down the bottom clamp to the workbench if needed. I've done this for soldering circuit boards. Sort of like those "helping hands" things, but for me, more versatile and they don't move around.

If the clearly designated 4.25" size and the word "micro" aren't enough to clue you in that these are small, I'm not sure if you should be let into the workshop unsupervised.
