That has not been my experience. I live in Alabama, and while not experienced a tornado, has experienced 40-60mph straight-line gusts of wind on several occasions. Never budged an inch, and we're on year four. This is just using the included cheap metal stakes. I'm sure you could upgrade to some better stakes from Lowes if need be.

By chance, did you apply shade cloth or shade paint to the greenhouse during the hot summer?
