"The Definition of Hell".
Why don't you go all the way.
Why not use the dish water to make your coffee

Hoping Google price matches their copy (https://play.google.com/store/boo...deEAAAQBAJ), currently $8.99, so I can use my Opinion Rewards money to get this.

Exactly what I was thinking. A good YouTube video should be more than enough!

I was just going to say he has YouTube videos. What makes the book better?

This book, and James Hoffman in general, is great. Yes you can save your $2 and watch his YouTube channel and more or less pick up the same info. Or if you're fine with your k-cup - that's great! This is not for you.

If you want to make better or even excellent coffee, and want it convenient organized in book form on your kindle/ereader, this is an excellent book for an excellent price.

I have the hardcover and you might lose some of the nice coffee table (heh) photography in kindle version, but for $2…..

Sure, if it's something you think you would enjoy reading about. I read this recently, and it's less of a recipe book and more of a way to learn about different brewing methods, tools, and "coffee theory" (how does coffee extraction even work, why is it too bitter or too sour sometimes, why does grind size matter, etc.). I thought it was a nice read, and I learned a few things. I'm not a hardcore coffee guy, but I did find myself taking a few tips from the book.

I just did both, had credits so got kindle for free.99 and realized hardcover is on "sale" so said why not.

I don't particularly drink coffee and take it quasi medicinally... but I love the production value, information, and charm of his videos as entertainment.
