Note that greentoe makes somewhat annoying / expensive to return / ship it back if the lens is decentered or not sharp on one side.
Also, Tamron will not pay shipping to send to service by default. You gotta ask really nicely.
In any case, I don't understand these GT posts... The allure of GT is that you make an offer and they may or may not accept it, but there is (was) a chance of a great deal. Posting a fixed price guarantees that this isn't the lowest price one could get. I guess some don't want to go through the bidding process...
I've also never heard of the defects you mentioned. Are those obvious? I'm upgrading a Sony FE kit lens (28-70mm F3.5-5.6) because I take photos for products and for the smaller items like the size of a thumb, I get some corner blur. But I also have larger products (40" monitors, large AV units) that I need to cover as well. I guess I could do two lens but for my purposes I think I should be able to get away with 1.

I ended up selling it on Marketplace which was an unnecessary hassel.
