These arrived and I compared them to my old ones. Sadly the rubber isn't nearly as grippy. It's more slippery and plasticky feeling, which defeats the entire purpose of them gripping the countertop.

Also, something I don't understand at all, is why this version doesn't have the rubber directly on the bottom (like the old version did). Instead, the rubber is only on the bottom around the sides, rather than on the part that touches the actual countertop.

Very very disappointing. I sent mine back. No wonder they were so cheap.
