Anyone has any experience with this fleece. I have another TNF fleece that I purchased quite a few years ago and it is so light that it is basically useless in winter.

This listing says "lightweight" and The North Face's website says 1/5 for warmth.

It's meant to be an active layer that's breathable but warm when you add an air blocking shell like a windbreaker or rain jacket - that's the general purpose of all grid fleece but grid fleece does less often come in much thicker varieties too.

I have last year's model and it's a warm mid-layer for me and a good spring/fall fleece.

I picked one up at Goodwill. Blue tags were 50% off. Came to $4. YMMV. 🙃 That's a true story, but seriously, I really like it. Worth $36 though I would never pay retail.
