First of all, I have an R8 so I didn't have the right charger. I bought a used one for pretty cheap, just a charger so don't really care if it's used. When I received the light/battery, my battery was dead, but it had enough juice to at least turn the screen on and show me a dead battery icon.
After charging it up, I've left the battery in the light for about 4 days now and it still shows full charge.
