A deal on the new Meta Quest 3S before it even launches! Not sure if it's targeted or not, so YMMV, but the deal shows up in my Target accounts, and I was able to purchase with the 20% discount.
Target is currently running a "20% off Tech, Toys, Sports, & Entertainment" deal that applies to all new Meta Quest 3S VR headset preorders. Currently both the 128gb and 256gb headsets come with the new Batman: Arkham Shadow VR game and a 3 month subscription to Quest + as well.
Target Circle membership (free) is required to see the deal, and this particular deal is limited to one use. (One purchase, per Target circle account, not one item.). It expires October 5th. Going from the Quest 2 to the 3s is a big leap forward due to the new color passthrough which makes AR a viable thing, and the 3s has the same superior processor as the 3.
Going from the 3s to the 3 is not as big of a leap, especially for the price difference - it's mostly for the superior lenses. I don't think it's worth the upgrade when the prices are Quest 3s at $240 vs Quest 3 for $500, but if you want to roll the dice with Amazon renewed, their Quest 3 at $380 is OK.
Just tell yourself it's "2s" since it is basically 2's optics/display with 3's processors/cam.
edit: as some gentleman says, you can get Amazon renewed 128gb quest 3 for $379. But brand new is still $500.
