Putting the responsibility on consumers is a farce. Companies need to step up, and Patagonia is doing this. Maybe you're a business owner of a restaurant sending out all their food wrapped in plastic? Or have you just been brainwashed to think that consuming tons of plastic material is okay as long as you stick it in the blue bin?
I have this bag in black. It is perfect. It's been all over the world with me the past few years. Bought a zip up camera cube to go in the bottom of it. No one knows I have my expensive camera setup in it. Great bag!
Great personal bag for budget airlines.

If I stuff mine to the gills, it fits perfectly in a frontier/spirit personal bag size checker.

Quote from ash78 :
Patagonia: 1% for the planet! Sustainable manufacturing!

Owners: Sry can't hear you over jet engines! Smilie
For so many companies this would be true but you couldn't be more wrong about this one. In 2022 Patagonia's founder gave up his billionaire status by transferring his shares into a specially designed trust that will keep the company independent while ensuring that all of its profit, ~$100,000,000 annually, go directly to fighting climate change. That means the company exists for the sole purpose of generating money to fight climate change. Back on Black Friday 2011, the company took out a full page ad in The NY Times encouraging customers to NOT buy their products and instead buy repaired or used products that are better for the environment. Patagonia is a rare example of a company walking the walk when it comes to environmentalism and sustainability talk.
