Love and hate with Nvidia. You can not run two of these in the same room without tripping the breaker. If your job is rendering stuff.

Does 5090 / next gen CPU / MB use different connectors? I remember the melting connector on 4090 is already different. Nowadays, we don't seem to need SATA cables.

5090 might have double 600w connectors in custom partners PCBs

1000w will soon be the new minimum PSUs if GPUs keep growing. Someone has to come up with more efficient power deliveries for these monstrosities. Its getting out of hand. ⚡️

5080 will be enough. Faster than a 4090 with a single connector

Sure you can. I ran two extra 15 amp circuits to my home office just for PCs.

I bought this power supply three years ago for $150 and it's been working great. No complaints whatsoever. This is a good deal for a 1KW, but just note that it's not ATX3 & PCIe 5.0 compliant
