Nope. But it's a better buy.

No, I think the PS5 pro is close to a 7800xt

A little bit weaker than the base PS5.

It should be pretty much anything inside. MSI pre-builts are like iBuyPower, just using consumer parts.

Thinking about getting this for my son instead of rebuilding my old desktop. Will there be better deals in this price range on Black Friday?

Not really a deal for an Open box with limited warranty, more like overprice, non open box means $100 more. that $700 for a Ryzen 5 5000 generation, you don't have any upgrade path. Just get one with DDR5 and AM5. you will have the option to upgrade to new CPUs been release in the next 5 years.

Because of the power envelope of the ps5 pro and the fact they didn't expand the unified memory over 16GB it's more likely in the 7700XT performance range, but with potentially better ray-tracing than even their top of the line 7900xtx (because the ray tracing tech in the ps5 pro is next-gen and not found on any commercial or consumer GPU's atm).

With that in mind you can buy a 7700xt pretty regularly for about $350, and replicating the rest of the spec of this system is pretty doable for $250.. so you can see that this system is fairly poor value considering the much weaker and older GPU and the fact it is not a new system.
