I have a 10 yr old who may love something like this. And it's about the price of the tablet he's using. My local store still has 3 in stock. May just buy one and return if needed— but this would be a YouTube/google/minecraft machine. Is that doable?

Google search does say that Minecraft will run on a chrome os these days.

For somebody who has basic browsing needs this is not a bad laptop.
Having said all that I bought this with an older person in mind and I think the lack of a backlight keyboard might be an issue so it's likely I'll return it.

Thanks for the tip! I didn't know win11 has that option. I generally use Linux, so I check my distro to see if it has that same option.
