As a personal finance nerd on track to retire by 45, I HIGHLY recommend this book for anyone wanting to get a better handle on their finances. This is a top 3 book for me. Does a great job rewiring how you look at work and spending. Other top 3 are Simple Path to Wealth and Psychology of Money. Those 3 WILL change your mindset and probably your life.

Edit: i'm buying another copy because I lent mine out to family and never got it back lol

Yeah, often true -- but for me, this one is worth owning and it's worth a physical copy. In my opinion it's one of the best books on money, and worth re-reading it a few times during your life.

Exactly lol. I never even buy a book anymore; either rent them for free at the library, or use something like Amazon no-rush credits towards e-books to bring them down to free.

Any self help book, tends to repeat itself as it explains the limited points it has. It might be useful to just ask an AI to summarize the main points.

Sorry, poor choice of words, I was not trying to insult. The excitement might have been from your suggestion that borrowing books replaces the act of purchasing books. I do both, and I encourage everyone to do both. Frugality should not limit this aspect of our lives.

I thought the first chapter was the best part of this book. Definitely one to get from the library given that the content is about frugality.
