I searched for a forum on this but did not find one (Although I'm sure someone has mentioned it before). It appears Amazon has changed subscribe and save so that you can no longer change your delivery date to an earlier date and keep the prices for your S&S items. Twice now I have changed my delivery date to an earlier date and this resulted in Amazon cancelling all of my orders and reordering those items at higher prices. I then had to chat with customer service in one instance for more than two hours to get every single item changed back to its original price. Historically, I could change my delivery date any time i wanted with no negative impact. Now, changing the delivery date appears to remove any promotions and coupons since Amazon cancels those orders and places new orders at higher prices without promos and coupons. Since this has now happened to me on each of my last two orders, it does not appear to be a glitch but rather a full blown policy change.

I also noticed that they are now longer allowing gift card balance to be applied to the S&S order once the order has been placed. In the past I was always able to add gift card funds after-the-fact, but not anymore.
Regardless, repped you for your post and data.
It also had a different ship date because of this different address.
Once I did the address merge, and then I opted to do the date merge, the original item S&S order got canceled because it was scheduled to ship sooner.
The item showed up in my upcoming shipment list, but no new invoice was created yet. So I know they would have killed my special multibuy discount I had received for that item order, and charged me for whatever the price turned out to be when shipped.
So I just canceled the subscription for the item from my upcoming shipment to avoid dealing with customer service. I also noticed when they canceled the original order, my invoice now only shows $0.00 so no way to prove what the deal/price was, other than to take a screenshot of my open tab with it.
This is adjacent/related to, but not the same thing OP brought up so this data could help others while they are here. Merging the dates facilitated the order to be canceled. Sounds a lot like changing the date as OP brought up, but I doubt their issue was this exact one.
Regardless, repped you for your post and data.
