This is a reliable site, I've bought a few pieces from them over the years, but they had more aggressive sales earlier this year. Lots of items are $15 to $25 more expensive than they were when on sale in the middle of 2024. If you need something, go right ahead, but I would suggest letting them build up some inventory for more aggressive sales later. These deals happen every month or two, so there shouldn't be any FOMO here.
There isn't as much variety at last time, but agreed there are some good deals and the 3-qt saucepan is one of those core pieces that's a bargain at $76.50.

I also highly recommend the 2-qt saucier [homeandcooksales.com] which is also $76.50 AC, and if you are partial to the D3 Everyday line, that 3-qt saucepan is a decent deal at $85 AC.

As always, I recommend checking out the All-Clad Pots & Pans Advice discussion/Q&A here on SlickDeals which tries to answer pretty much every question people have about this sale, and about the different All-Clad lines.FWIW I would not personally worry about looking for damaged box items (for which they charge more than they do for "second quality" items). "Damaged box" gives folks a greater comfort level that they are getting a pristine piece of cookware, but most of us have been thrilled with ALL of the items that come from this sale. It's usually hard to identify any defect or blemish at all.

Thanks for the updated code.... was just at this site trying to pick up a 12-qt stock pot but wasn't able to find a working code, even after trying variations of the prior SD codes.

Quick updates (10/23) -

I ended up placing two separate orders just after this code went live. Both orders arrived in separate (outer) shipping boxes via UPS yesterday (10/22).

The first was a 12 Qt All-Clad SD5 in "packaging damage" condition. I've not seen this item and option since I began checking every week or two over the past 6 months or so. This item was not discounted as well as other similar items, but it's been on my wish list for a number of years so pulled the trigger anyway.

The second order included the All-Clad immersion blender, the 3 piece outdoor / grill stainless set, and the square outdoor / grill basket. All listed in "packing damage" condition.

I'm guessing some if not all of these were overstock / clearance.

The 12 QT SD5 - The "retail" box was taped shut, but pristine and no damage. Pot was pristine. Handle on the lid has a very small, light scuff... About what you would expect to see after one or two uses / cleanings.

The blender's retail box and the item itself was pristine and unopened. (Note- The Weck 743 3/4 mold jar is a near perfect fit for the wide head on this immersion blender for certain liquid blending like making mayo.)

The retail cardboard box for the 3 piece grill set was ever so slightly smushed, likely from the other items being shipped on top of it. This set was packaged decently and appeared to have never been taken out of the box. All 3 items were in new condition.

The retail cardboard "wrap over" for the stainless basket was in pristine condition as was the basket itself. I tried to pick up these same outdoor / grill items on a prior sale at a similar price, but they went OOS prior to completing the purchase.

Overall very happy with the items and would purchase each again.

Unfortunately the price has gone up, this was only $113 a few days ago and $150 today, but it would still be cheaper than the All-Clad with a 15% discount:

https://www.amazon.com/Culinary-S...B016K5MI5I

But I was also not able to get the OCTSD15 code to work.

Apologies, didn't specify which option I purchased... I had been waiting for a damaged box All-Clad 12-Quart D3 or D5 w/ polished finish, but have not seen a damaged box option for months.

The deal on the BD5 (D5 brushed outside) is much better than the SD5 (D5 polished outside). But I was tired of waiting, so the free shipping and the extra 15% made the sale Wink

Perfect timing. Just moving into a new house that has an induction cooktop so my old aluminum pots and pans won't work.

Hi, I have read that discussion in the past (very appreciative) so am not concerned with 2nd quality, box damage, etc. and am finally considering my first piece at 60, the 2 qt saucier. My kitchen consists mostly of vintage Paul Revere bought at yard sales with a Cuisinart clad stockpot that I bought from a Slickdeal, all of which suit me fine, but I think I would prefer the saucier profile over my 2 qt saucepan. However the saucier w/lid that you linked is not designated as being from any of their specific lines. There is a D3 with whisk that I've been watching for the same price. I'd prefer to have a lid, but unsure as to which kind of pan this is as it also says dishwasher safe.

However I'm also intrigued by the 4 qt D5 sauteuse with strainer. My main use for this would be pasta for 2, to make straining easier, and maybe some large skillet dishes. Is that appropriate (since it's shallow) or ridiculous to consider for this piece? Do you have experience with it or know if this is a good price at $127 (vs other sales, not retail)?

I'd love to buy the saucier for each of my kids for Christmas but they throw everything into the dishwasher, even their Lodge cast iron Dutch ovens and their Nordicware baking sheets, all of which now look terrible.
I think seeing the All Clad in there too would give me heartburn.

Thank you for any opinion or insight that you can share.

I will say that I got a saucier for a gift two years ago and the defect was straight up glaring, with the outer chrome overlaying about 25% of the copper ring in a haphazard fashion, so major aesthetic defects are possible. It doesn't affect the function, of course.

I got my set of All Clad as a wedding present 20 years ago. It's still in near mint condition after all this time, and will probably last the rest of my life.

The 2-qt saucier is D3, and it's one of my favorite pans. The one with the whisk is indeed enticing, but it doesn't appear to come with a lid, so I'd stick with the one that has the lid, then get an OXO Good Grips steel whisk for under $10.

I've never used the sauteuse. It's basically the saute pan but without the long handle. To me, I'd only consider a sauteuse instead of a similar-sized saute pan if I mainly planned to use it for stovetop-to-oven dishes, where the handle can get in the way. Otherwise, I'd prefer the handle. 4 quarts is big, and D5 is heavier than D3, so that's probably a very heavy pan, but a 4 quart D5 saute pan would have a helper handle as well. If you like the idea of using it for pasta and using the strainer instead of a traditional collander, I personally wouldn't choose it for that purpose, because: 1) A full 4 quarts of water is recommended for making pasta so this pan would be on the small side for that, 2) D5 will heat water to a boil more slowly, 3) the strainer with this heavy pan and 4 quarts of water looks like a dangerous combination to try lifting and pouring, rather than the usual dumping out into a collander, 4) I'd bet it doesn't drain all the water as well as dumping into a collander.

Ok, I'm in for the saucier and I really, truly appreciate your input for the sauteuse. Weight would be a concern so I'm grateful that you were thinking of that. Thank you for all of your help!

Wait, you can actually use steel items with these? I thought you only wanted rubber, plasitc, wood ones?
