i haven't shopped for cancun in a while, but isn't this kinda pricey for 3 days?

This isn't some insane rate. I searched my lesser-known, more competitive sources than Expedia Group and the like and can get within $150 without any work.

Looking back thru my old emails... the last time I was in Cancun was September 2011. I booked a package for 3 people thru Expedia. The package included 5 nights at what is now a luxury resort, return flights from Seattle, and a rental car for the entire period. The total cost, including taxes, was $2180.
