If you want an entry level 34 ultrawide monitor, this one is great. I bought 6 of them for my employees the last time this was on sale and 4 of the 5 looked like they were brand new never used.

They are a bit dark out of the box, but there's a setting on them that brightens them up.

Is it going to compare to a Samsung Odyssey OLED ultrawide? Of course not. But you're not going to find a better option for under $200, and it's CERTAINLY better than those random Chinese ultrawides that keep popping up on Amazon.
I see the DecoGear 30" 2560x1080 for $199 new at BeachCamera.
The 34" 3440x1440 is $369.
I just picked one up from amazon for the same price (205 after taxes to Texas). Was 2 bucks less on Ebay with coupon but I figured I'd save my coupon for a rainy day and get Amazon in case the quality isn't up to snuff for returns. https://www.amazon.com/acer-Ultra...B0CHN57JWH

No idea about this monitor but I also got an Acer refurb years ago. There was a quarter inch scratch on the screen that's only visible with white background, don't notice it most of the time.

I'd stay away from acer refurbished. They are packaged horrible. I ordered a monitor not too long ago it was missing the power cord. Came with a weird power supply and was all scratched from banging around in the box.

I had ordered this monitor a couple months back . No issues with the delivery or setup.
Everything that it was supposed to come with was right there in the box. Oh besides the manual but I can just look that up online.

Like the other user said, it's dark right outside of the box but, can be fixed with the settings.

No scratches on my model and so far I've been loving it . Coming from a 24in 60hz monitor to this , is fantastic !

You can still buy the DecoGear 34inch Ultrawide for almost this same price from BeachCamera and that one is new. Why buy refurb to save $5-$15 LOL
I see the DecoGear 30" 2560x1080 for $199 new at BeachCamera.
The 34" 3440x1440 is $369.

This may not be relevant but during COVID lockdown, I purchased a refurbished Acer 35 in monitor and it came with two dead pixels. Just beware.

That's a good deal. I'm impressed with these lower end Acer monitors. Be prepared for it to show up with the worst packaging possible. Mine had two pieces of bubble wrap on the ends and nothing else. No film or cover on the panel itself. I was surprised it didn't get damaged. After cleaning the dust, all was good.

What kind of business is this? Good for a small consulting shop?

I was the IT Director of an internal IT Department. So it was for your general day-to-day stiff ranging from desktop support to Sys Admin type tasks.

No height adjustment is a bit of a bummer but nice deal if you get a good monitor. Mine had dead pixel and another was cracked.

The good deal was Acer accepted returns on both. Good luck.
