Tire warranties are nearly impossible to claim in my experience. They require receipt-proven routine balancing and rotations throughout the life of the tire, far more than most people have any time for.
Make sure to bring the quote to discount tire to match it and your installation exprience will be much better
Tires will vary greatly based on region. For example if you live on the WC, you probably dont care about an A/S tire. You want tires that will last longer since most people do a lot of highway driving. If you are in the midwest or east, you want a better A/S tire due to tougher winter weather. Tirerack.com has a lot of good reviews on tires by size. Check them out. Also make sure to get your car alignment done or it wont matter how good the tires are you will have the same issues again. Good luck.

Most products made in USA or Japan have better quality control than those made in China or Mexico. The location of the parent company is irrelevant. I'd buy a Toyota made in Canada or USA over one that's made in Mexico.
parent company controls the quality system

but I guess Toyota abandoned their production system in Mexico

Toyota...made in Japan vs made in Mexico. Same parent company. Most Chinese stuffs are cheap because they compete on price.

Bought Goodyear, Yokohama, and Kumho tires. All were made in USA. I don't buy Chinese tires or tools.

What do you all do if there is no discount tire in your area? I live in a major city but no discount tires and I've heard great things about them and want to try a price match?

I still have 6 more months to go on my tires. Can I buy in advance and install later?

Then this is not a deal for you. The only advantage to this offer over their usual discounts is the extra $40 off installation. If you buy them now without installing them, do you really think Sam's will give you a voucher for free installation to redeem in 6 months? Plus, you'd need a truck or SUV to haul away 4 new tires and the space to store them until you're ready to install.

Heard discount tire price matches costco tire prices and sams club. They are really good on their warranty based on what I seen people saying in automotive chats. Complaints about costco not honoring or charging for a tire patch
Yes, discount will price match. You'll want to make sure they match the total "out the door" price for this deal because it includes free install and disposal (that's included in Sam's Club's installation). (<br/>) Those cost $104 at my local Discount Tires.

Discount includes a free pro-rated road hazard warranty with no time limit. Sam's Club's is 4 years. Costco's is 5 years, and people online have said they've refused because the tire was patched at another store.
For a replacement with any of them, you'll have to pay the difference in this sale price and whatever the cost of the tire is when you need the replacement.

Discount has an optional road hazard certificate that you can purchase which gives you a free replacement tire rather than a pro-rated credit. Officially it's only valid for 3 years but they've never enforced that for me and I've never seen anyone online who had it enforced.
If you have AWD, you have to replace all 4 tires because they all have to be very similar in tread depth, or get your single new tire shaved down to match (you can do this through Tire Rack if you call them).
Officially these certificates only cover the damaged tire but there are reports from employees and customers online that Discount actually gave them a pro-rated credit for the 3 good tires in addition to replacing the damaged one for free. If that's the case when you need it, then that's a huge advantage and I wouldn't buy tires anywhere else for an AWD car.
Discount is known for great customer service and doing things for free or discounted, which has been my experience at all but 1 location.

Costco and Sam's club often have to wait a while for your tires to be shipped to them. Which is a problem if you have a damaged tire and can't drive.
Discount has a large inventory and have even gotten tires from other locations within several hours for me.

I shopped around quite a bit before purchasing at Sams, Goodyear store price for the same tire was much higher and they didn't even try to match.....actually all the stores I went to pretty much no body tried to sell me tires after hearing Sams price....it was like take it or leave it. my god daughter had no problem getting tires replaced multiple times under road hazard, it was 5/6 years ago.
What size did you get? I see the price is nowhere close for the size I need.

I did not have the same experience as you! Most discount tires have tight show rooms and honestly never quick. Last time I ordered tires was 2021 and had to wait a week for the tires to arrive! Worse they ended up costing more than costco after all their fees were added!

In store even with an appointment I had to wait over two hours and sit in a glorified closet space next to some dude watching odd videos with no headphones on! I would gladly pay $50 more and enjoy roaming costco or sams club versus ted bundy's cousin next to me!
