Includes regular fountain drinks.
fwiw, this worked on the large as well. it acts like it's gonna charge you an extra $0.20 (which i likely would have paid), but then it discounts the full price.

Well, KFC prevented me from coming to their two locations near me today. I could not even get this deal to work on my application. Apparently, a notice popped up that stated "promotion was not applied" and when I clicked on it, it stated that the locations I wanted to pick up at were not doing this. I was going for the cherry pie poppers (something new to try if I have to make use of this deal and comes out less than the price of a medium drink, which is the default size that they want you to purchase as the free drink).
i encountered that error on 10/26/2024 with the Cherry Pie Poppers, when i added the normal menu item to my cart, then activated/added the offer. i had to instead go through the offer, and let it add some apparently custom menu item to my cart. this was on the KFC.com website as opposed to the app.

Day 13 (10/31/2024. Halloween) = "Free Kids Meal with $5+ digital purchase

Free Kids Meal with $5+ digital purchase
Only available on KFC.com or in the app for participating stores through the KFC Rewards account with $5+ online purchase (before taxes, tips & fees). Offer must be redeemed prior to checkout. Customers responsible for all taxes, tips and fees. Cannot be combined with other offers. Limit 1 per account. Offer expires on 11/1/24 at 4:00 a.m. ET"

Kids' meals go for $5.59 locally, so the discount is 52.8%. they include: 5 chicken nuggets or 2 chicken tenders, a side, a drink, and a sauce. i dunno how big the sides and drinks are, but the French fries option for the former is called "junior fries".

I wonder what "good" deal could beat Tuesday's 8pc $10
I got the 50% off 12 piece deal, which is $29.99 - 50% = $14.99. That's equivalent to the Tues deal, but you get to buy 12 pieces.

I grabbed this today. I swapped the milk for soda and was given a full size drink, also opted for Mac and cheese instead of applesauce and got a regular portion.

I ordered the $5 tender box - with the free kids meal, I essentially got a 5 piece tender big box but was forced fries for one side and no biscuit for $5 instead of $12.19 - good deal.

Too much info; however, I decide on getting the 2 piece tender meal and a chicken pot pie. Everything came as I ordered, nothing upgraded. But man, it whopped my stomach. It was delicious to try a pot pie again for so long; however, along came the runs. I am still recovering from that, today. Well, to better deals in the future.

I do not think it is a discount really. I mean one would have to calculate the lowest possible meal value and then add this meal as the offer. For instance, I bought a chicken pot pie for $5 and this was priced at $5.19, in my area. That would mean the discount, depending on the value of the purchase (being as close to $5 as possible), would be $5 on $10.19. So that would be roughly a 50.94% discount (my math is horrible, please check me).

thanks for the feedback (which is NOT too much info!). i, too, opted for Mac and cheese, and the portion sure seems to be regular. on the drink, i stuck with milk, receiving a 7 fl oz (207 mL) bottle.

they actually gave me 3 tenders on the chicken! and on the day with the 4-count box, they gave me 5! i dunno if this is happening to compensate for 1 tender being smaller in each case, or yesterday, to compensate for my order being filled a little slowly.

i tend to think that employees are getting confused by the umpteen adjacent tender quantities: 3, 4, and 5 -count on the adult/normal menu, and then 2-count on the kids' menu.

I think I was misunderstood. I meant, "Too much info that you were going to see that I had the runs when I ate the chicken pot pie."

Anyone see the deal today on the KFC app (after this 13 days of deals promotion)? "Free 3 pc tenders box with a minimum of a $10 digital purchase required."
Not really that much of a hoot seeing as a 3 pc tenders box where I am at cost $5 and I would have to purchase two items to exactly add up to $10 (for the best deal). Essentially, I would be getting 3 items for $10.

There are a few items >$10 and a few good 2 for $10+ items. It looks like they're replacing the normal free 10pc saucy nuggets on $10+ with the 3pc tenders box which I think is better.

If you get $10 you're getting $15 worth of food, roughly "saving" 33%. Not many other fast food places have a similar everyday deal.

Definitely.
I think before the 13 days of deals, they had the 50% of a chicken sandwich, which was great.
I tend to go more for the buy one, get one free deal. For KFC, they have it as, get this free with $5 purchase.
