not as good but for the price can't complain
Costco tires are probably the department with worst customer service.. They screw you in every possible way you can think of... Only reason you shop tires at Costco is because you think being a paid member, you can get some advantage than others, but it is not.. my previous experience with Costco tires was negative.
are there actual cotton ones and not plastic polyester crap?

What happens if you return something and drop the total below $100? Would they just prorate the refund or charge you the $20?

Typically they prorate the discount across all the items

What name brand driver is it most similar to? Or is it unique?

Wool is too hot in the summer, despite what some claim about its temp regulating abilities. There's a reason why athletes only wear synthetic.
I'm not eating my socks so the microplastic concern is only an environmental one. If that's stopping you from buying synthetic, buy wool. There's no reason to choose cotton socks unless you really can't afford wool or synthetic.
I like cotton because it breathes better. I also hate plastics and BPA which is a concern with polyester socks.

"It is important to note that when The Center for Environmental Health tested socks made from different blends of polyester, cotton and spandex, high levels of BPA were found only in the socks made from polyester with spandex. "

My guy clearly don't understand how cotton works when you sweat

Note that $20 discount applies to the net total after other item-specific discounts. Look carefully before you check out and pay...

My net is over $100 after the item specific discounts and if I look at the discount and subtract the item specific discounts, I'm not getting $20 off, it's about $7.5 off for my order. Not sure how they are calculating this

That's a wierd amount off. Double-check. Mine finally worked right when I figured out that the NET total must be more than $100...

Anyone and everyone knows not to buy your tires from Costco. That hasnt changed in the last decade.
Bought a set for my car and my wifes. No issues. Frankly I never have issues with Costco for anything. Always give me price adjustments when I purchase something and it goes on sale right after too.

Only had one poor experience there, and from I found out, I couldn't really blame them. I bought my wife earrings for Xmas last year that were on sale (like $350 off if I remember). They charged me sales tax on the whole thing (including the discount off), and when I challenged them on it, they said that because the coupon was a "manufacturer's coupon" and not a Costco discount, the tax law said I had to pay tax on the whole thing. Then again I live in this s*ithole we call NYS, and I wouldn't put it past them to figure out another way to tax me.
