i'm playing dishonored 2 right now. fun game, just like dishonored 1. took me a while to figure out the chaos system. I'm doing my first run as corvo and straight up wiping out the map of all enemies. Going to do a 2nd run as Emily and go full ghost (undetected, no kill) after i do the corvo run.
there's 8 chapters but if you take your time getting EVERYTHING, you can easily spend a 2 or more hours per chapter, especially if you try your best to avoid using online guides.
Deathloop is one of my favorite games from this generation. The overall game was very original (though it takes around 4 hours for you to "get it") and I also really liked the multiplayer. For multiplayer basically you could either go into other people's single player game and try and kill them or they can go into your game and try and kill you instead of letting the CPU do it. It was thrilling and very fun once I got the cloaking mechanism where I could stay cloaked for a very long time.

It was a freebie on Prime gaming a couple of months ago. Had a lot of fun with it but didn't finish it. It's high on my list to restart sooner than later.

Death of the Outsider is a standalone game that's not quite as long as the main games in the series, similar to Uncharted Lost Legacy.

I'm midway through it via the Game Pass version. Enjoyed it and planning to get back to it at some point.

The first Dishonored is one of my all time favorite games. Prey took some warming up to but it was absolutely excellent once I did. I bought Deathloop when I first got a PS5 and tried to play it three times but I could never get into it. It's just missing something. I would not recommend it.

If you are interested in Deathloop and have an AMD graphics card, there is a chance you will not be able to run the game. I can't remember much but I know from first hand experience and subsequent research that this is an issue.

If you like story driven games that are original like prey, quantum break, and atomic heart you'll enjoy the game. It also has good soundtrack where I added some of the songs to my Spotify. I would say it's a 8/10 game I can see myself playing it again in several years. But I hated the multiplayer though. All the other people you go against are just too good to make it enjoyable. If you have plenty enough time to enjoy and be good at multiplayer games then you might enjoy it. Otherwise it was a waste of time in my opinion.

Arx Fatalis is such a gem of a dungeon crawler. I hope it runs well on modern systems.

Another recommendation for Deathloop. I liked it quite a bit, although the "tutorial" overstays its welcome a little bit. Interesting story, engaging gameplay. The core mechanic of the game is pretty similar to both Outer Wilds and the Hitman series: You have to be comfortable with doing the same thing over and over again but doing it differently each time. If you like either or both of those games you might like Deathloop.

Deathloop is fantastic! As others have said, it takes a while for all of the game's functionality to open up, both for story reasons, and to keep from overwhelming players early on. I spent the first half of my playtime just blown away by how good it was, and then finally knuckled down to pull off the "perfect day".
It's a time loop game, where information is your best weapon. You can occasionally permanently alter the day that keeps repeating, but it's very rare. Just you are aware that the same day is repeating. Everyone on the island wants you dead, especially a woman who is the only other person that is aware the day is repeating.

Why is it happening? How do you stop it, and…SHOULD you stop it?

I wonder if this is resolved. It's currently flagged as verified to work on the Steam Deck, and that's got an AMD GPU.
