$2000 C4 has only 1-year warranty vs. 5-year on this one.

I think bestbuy does, so maybe wait to see if they'll match price and warranty?
They won't.

I have the B2, was debating spending the extra few hundred $$ to get the C2. I am so glad I didn't, as it's an incremental upgrade that doesn't justify the cost increase. For the B4 to C4, from everything I've read, other than it getting a little brighter in HDR, it's a wash from a feature/specs perspective. My opinion for what it's worth.
What about frame thickness of the B4 vs C4 ?

Getting a 77 inch OLED was like when Alexander conquered India and wept that there were no more lands to conquer.

I guess it was kind of difficult to get to China back then, I guess.

At this price, wouldn't the A80L or A80CL be better, especially if it's mainly for watching movies or shows? A80L is usually compared to the C4, and it was $1500 about two months ago

I got the LG 77 b3 from the Conns closing sale. Literally the only downside is the not so bright sdr. Which is much better with this new model. So unless you purposely look for it's shortcomings you will probably love it

Anyone dealt with Allstate warranty before? Is it similar to squaretrade where they give you a refund of the purchase price if the panel goes out?
I just dealt with them on my 4 year old LG CX. My experience was easy. I was able to talk to someone. My TV wouldn't power up. They sent out a power supply part and connected me with service tech. Guy came over and replaced the power supply. Didn't fix it. Turns out it was the mother board. They sent a new part and the tech scheduled again. This fixed the powering up but the panel had a green jagged line at the top. I sort of recall a much smaller line was there before but it had been awhile since it broke and me putting in a claim. The tech wrote it up as an existing problem with the mother board. I sort of expected Allstate to deduct the motherboard fix but they didn't and refunded me the full amount I paid at Costco. Just received the check yesterday. BTW I didn't get the first check, or I threw it away inadvertently. They quickly sent me a new check. One other thing… the green line is not burn in. It's talked about over at AVS forum on the CX. I'm in Hawaii which might be why I got a check instead of a new panel. The TV works fine. I put a strip of black electrical tape along the very top so I can't see the line. According to the tech the line will gradually get bigger and move down. Hopefully it lasts long enough until next year when the G4 closes out right before they introduce the G5. Great easy experience with them.

I haven't delt with them for TV but I did for a fridge and dishwasher, both LG. The fridge they straight up told me that they don't have anyone that repairs them in my area and cut me a check for the amount of the fridge.

The dishwasher was a royal pain. It was the pump that was bad. Tech came diagnosed it, he was from a sub contracted company. It took him forever to get approval to order the part, he kept calling them but they kept delaying. Finally he got the part installed it and left without testing it. It was leaking all over, you can't just call the same guy back, they tell you to file another claim. Maybe he was looking to get double paid, I don't know but they contract out the work to the lowest bidder, so you are going to get low quality work done. Had to file another claim to get them to fix the pump they installed incorrectly. Was without a dishwasher for like a month. I'm not sure extended warranty is worth it in some cases, is saving $400 and not having to buy a dishwasher worth not having one for a month? I'm starting to think it isn't.

For a TV you can probably get by while it's getting fixed.
