I'd suggest adding the brand name somewhere, ideally the title.

It looks like the impact driver is the 1/4 model. Decent reviews on the product pages

This appears to be around 50% list price. Yesterday was upwards of 90% off and I now have unrealistic expectations for tool prices.

This looks like a comp: https://www.homedepot.com/p/RIDGI.../325915544

Impact drivers are all 1/4. Impact wrenches can be 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, or larger.

Seems like a decent deal, the dust buster and blower are not normally seen in these kits.

The sander is terrible though.

Anyone know enough about tools in this kit to comment? I have 2 Rigid brush drills whose chucks have rust shut (not cleaning them right after concrete work) was waiting for a cheap brushless kit around BF but wouldn't mind some of the tools in this kit, if they are brushless and performing well.

I'll second the sander bring terrible. Its my least favorite ridgid power tool from a use standpoint. Having a cordless orbital sander is nice but the ergonomics when in use is abysmal.

Many of the tools are lower quality/ lower value variants; while I am sure they work and are good for a first time purchaser, or someone with vastly outdated tools; If you have any do it yourself drive, this kiit will leave you legitimately missing out.

I wouldn't say this is a bait and switch, but you wont get the full ridgid experience

Comparing another toolset I bought at around 50% off
RIDGID 18V Brushless Cordless 8-Tool Combo Kit with (2) 2.0 Ah and (1) 4.0 Ah MAX Output Batteries, and Charger R96264N - The Home Depot
Brushless= longer battery life and less sparks
Hammer drill, is totally necessary for DIY drilling into masonry vs a typical drill
Impact: smaller, stronger, and the 3 selectable torque settings are nice, gets into more places; this is my most used tool
Reciprocating saw with Orbital action: cuts through things soo much faster resulting in less fatigue and battery use.
The blower, sucker and light are all so small they have little value
The orbital sander you probably won't use
The circular saw being brushed means it murders batteries
Other tools that are a must for me: 1/2 or 3/8 impact for light automotive
Angle grinder because metal exists.

Was that 90% off deal posted on SD? I should have got a deal alert but I don't think I did

When you say in your comment that buying this combo kit would not give you the full Ridgid experience, what does that mean? As a newbie DIY'er, am I better off purchasing each Ridgid tool separately then?

The tools are of lower quality and performance in many ways. Ridgid make middle of the road tools, overall they are good, this kit has low end tools which are lower performers and set you up to want to upgrade in the future.

I buy ridigd because of the lifetime warranty; if I am going to have these tools long term, I want the better versions.
