The biggest argument against the Sennheiser 6xx is that the Hifiman HE400se exist and are $109. I don't agree, but some people think the 6xx is boring because it is fairly neutral.

Still consider them the best bang for buck headphones ever. No, you can't use them for every situation, but for at home use with a decent dac/amp they are unbeatable for the price. Extremely comfortable and they sound fantastic. Very neutral, but I've always loved them.
For reference I'm comparing them to the LCD-X which are my primary headphones that I use at my desk.

What are the most difference-making spec differences? (Or between any 2 pairs in general?)
I have bought multiples of them so not just a one time thing. Couple for me in different places and rest as gifts.
