Mine was on clearance for $10 off, so $49 for white only. But they were out of stock. The grey camo ones were full price still.

Side complaint - I have had three Sony-brand controllers start drifting on me, after about 14-18 months. Tried all the online tricks to fix them, but nothing worked for more than a session or two. Repairing with Sony is almost as expensive as just buying a new controller.

Meanwhile, my DualShock PS4 controllers are all solid. 🧐
Never had a ps5 controller but I can confirm my ps4 controllers are solid after almost 10 years. No issues.

Dude seriously! 2/3 of my controllers are either drifting or the trigger is getting locked. Or they fully do a 180 whenever they want. My ps3 controller is still working like a champ.
You would think these controllers would be better since the price is so high, but no. Whenever I hear my son upset it's always because of the controller messing up.

Thanks OP. I was able to find one at $29.41 at my local store. When it rang up at that price I asked if they could grab me one more, but the 2nd one was $59. Looks like Sony sent out a new SKU on the black controllers and the older version is the one on clearance. The SKU for the clearance one is 980346556. The MSRP one is 990345670. Hope that helps someone find one.

$59 Burleson tx. The guy did tell me they showed up as a canceled item so he says that they're probably getting new ones in and some Sams are probably clearance them

I've had ps5 since 2020 and no stick drift at all. Maybe take it easy on your controllers

I've had the same drifting issues, and didn't have them on PS3 or PS4 controllers. To be fair, I started playing FPS's and racing games moreso this generation. I think games like Gran Turismo, Ride, and MotoGP take a big toll on a controller.

I recommend using a default controller for the high stress games like racing games or FPS's. Use your newer controller (s) for other games. When the default starts to drift, sell it to GameStop for like $20, and just suck it up and get a new one if you can.

Being a large person probably doesn't help either. I'm 6'5" 275lbs and I bet that contributed to drifting from the increased pressure over time.
