Flatscreen versions of VR games aren't that weird. Switch exclusive flatscreen versions of VR games are a bit weird.

Well they are all android, they all require controllers too. That might be why. Also switch has the single joycon ability for shooting games like house of the dead. That's the closest to vr setup as you can get for non vr. That's my best guess. Although phasmophobia just used the pc prototype feature that vr dev kits usually have, that's why that game looks weird in non vr.

This game was mostly a VR take on "Alien: Isolation" anyways.

Have this in VR. Pretty fun game. It is short, so $30 is too much, but at this price its very good.
