They've been making... and selling TVs... just not in the USA. They are returning this year with two OLED models and this W95AP Mini-LED model.

Did anyone else look at this thread and wonder to themselves out loud "When did Panasonic start making TVs again?"
I have been eagerly waiting for them to return to the US market in earnest. Still rocking a Panny plasma in my loft🤘

You don't think that this uses the same panel as the TCL mini LEDs?
You asked me that in an earlier post in this thread. I said, "that would be the norm since the BIG THREE get a lot of their panels form TCL". However, just because one brand gets a panel from a so called "budget brand" doesn't mean it's a budget TV.

Oh, sorry. My bad. Lol. I have been on so many of these TV threads , getting confused with old age.

Thanks for replying again.

I currently have the Samsung s90c from Costco being delivered and having second thoughts because I really want smaller than 65" and not all my content is 4k.

LOL! I'm in the same boat. Was tempted to get that Costco S90C deal too but don't need that big for the bedroom. Now I can't decide between the 55QM7 and the 55U7N; both have their advantages. The better half is against me getting both and doing my own side-by-side comparison.

I still buy panisonic plasmas used on marketplace and I think they still look great for what you can find. I found a vt50 55inch for $65 it's in my bedroom going strong. Love panisonic
Didn't those Plasma TV consume a lot of electricity compared to modern LCDs?

I think that was true. One of the cons. But beautiful picture.

Im hesitant to get the QM7 because the 55 is $500 w/o the extra warranty. If warehouse club had it Id pull the trigger. Though shopping portal rewards sent me a targeted offer of 10% at Best Buy which they rarely send offers for . However the 55 B4 at LG is $999 - 15% coupon plus $250 in rewards with 30% targeted offer. With LGs extended warranty , thats $960 - $250 = $710 . Thats the way I am leaning. Perfect bedroom TV. Now just want to see if they add the soundbar or LG Tone buds back.

Yep... gotta find that perfect deal. Since Costco isn't carrying the 55" U7 series this year, like they have in the past, kinda forced to go through Best Buy. We have $1000 in BB GC's that we purchased for $650 (Amazon/AmEx targeted deals). That 35% disc. makes either the 55QM7 or 55U7N w/ 5 yr BB warranty $390 + tax.
