Junk stuff
Remember that these are the PRE-Black Friday ("Event One") deals listed, and no one has yet announced the actual Black Friday ("Event Two") and Cyber Monday ("Event Three"). The thread should make that clearer.

I also got 2 last time without issues - but I was clarifying that the Walmart deal last year had to be activated in store by rep to get price (you said it could be activated at home).
Everyone needs to see details in print.
That's true, looking back what I thought they meant by "activation ", was activating the SIM card they give u with the phone. Now I know that they meant like actually activating the phone thru straight talk representative at Walmart or whatever

The TV is a bad deal right? $400 feels too much when it is $450 normally unless I just am not finding this model

Do not buy . The TCL has a 55" mini qled for $500 that is a much better TV
If you buy a cheap Samsung, anything that is edge lit , get an extended warranty - they do not produce the quality in their sub $1k models like they used too
I speak from experience - I refuse to buy a Samsung unless I get a sweet deal on an OLED

Any recommendations for a 65 inch TV? Looking for one after my Walmart bf TV died and I was a silly goose not getting the warranty cause it's a TV never had one die 😭

EXACTLY, My Samsung 50" Q60A bedroom TVI bought from Walmart when they had some type of summer Prime deal in June of 2022 crapped out just after my CC 2nd year warranty ran out
https://imgur.com/PyiAjyh - it got worse than this.... note: lighting changes in the room that affect the photography are from the TV - hence my avoidance of Samsung, wish I had purchased a warranty. Beautiful TV otherwise. Rtings had an article that it is actually a defect in Samsung Edge lit TVs that generate too much heat if you leave TV on too long.

The LG B4 I am looking at . In a different price range but I may try to get a deal and splurge and move by Toshiba labeled Hisense into the bedroom.

Everyone calm down, Walmart is doing 3 "phases", these deals are the early Nov. 11 deals. Their actual Black Friday deals start NOV 25 online and NOV 29 in store, those deals have not been released yet. These are just early preview deals, wait for the actual deals to drop THEN complain is all I ask lol.

They are also hiring a ton of people right now across the board to deal with the sale and deployment of inhome/walmart+. They are making a play at taking out Amazon. 'Sorting' jobs for the stuff you are seeing here is paying $30/hr starting.

Walmart management has decided to stop F'ing around with losing market share, and are pressing hard to break through to the last mile of customers. I'm kind of impressed with it actually. I just hope they don't turn into a meat grinder like Amazon does to their staff. A quarter of the people I meet seem to have 'used to work for' Amazon. That's not a good metric for society. In fact, it's cancer. Businesses need to treat their workers better.

And yes, they are phasing BF sales. This is just the low end dogsht. They are going to drop the more in demand items closer to the 29th. Official 'peak' begins on the 20th of November for most retailers. But they are ramping up starting this week.

You know I'm glad Walmart is taking Amazon out for the greater good of us consumers. Walmart while it has some kind of stigmafrom the past history it actually doing much better than they were in the past, starting with customer service and wages.

I have a lot of respect for Walmart for putting people first. not so much with Amazon.

The iPhone SE 3rd generation for $50 that was recently on the frontpage would be a better value proposition in my opinion because it has the same processor as the iPhone 13 and also has 5G.
Same 5G radio and processor, but worse antennas.

Especially on T-Mobile, iPhone 13's 4x4 MIMO is well worth it.

Verizon is the best carrier for the SE. AT&T users absolutely need 3.45 GHz today, and sadly that requires iPhone 14 or newer.

I'm just hoping for some good discounts on games. Mainly Silent Hill 2, Stellar Blade and Rise of the Ronin.

Give it time. This isn't necessarily even the last of the WM deals. A few years ago wally had a surprisingly decent 55" TCL for $150. I know it's surprisingly decent because I bought it. I know it was part of BF ad but not sure if it was announced a month ahead.

Good luck!
Still have that TCL. It outlasted 2 Samsungs which is both a surprise and not a surprise

Don't buy that. They weren't greedy before? Stop spreading that garbage.

It's 2024 the antennas don't really matter that much…
