At 1000w, this Senada is illegal on roads and trails, except those intended for off highway vehicles like ATVs and motorcycles.

At 750w, the Aventon is legal on roads, multi-use trails, and many mountain bike trails.

Seems worth it to spend 100 more for the 21Ah, with hydraulic brakes anyone tried one of these before?

I'm sure everyone has a seismograph handy to measure your wattage

Specs wise this blows Adventure 2 out of water...1000W, 21Ah battery 80miles range, Hydraulic brakes and priced only $880 v/s $2K...even though I love Adventure 2 looks, its hard to argue that this bike at this price point.....can someone tell why this is garbage?

Specs wise? Maybe the motor/battery "specs", but not in regards to bike quality.

But it doesn't really matter if you can't ride it where you want to ride it.

I have two off-brand electric bikes. I have done things on both that most would say should never be done, like take them on dirt bike/motocross trails and jump them as a 200-pound rider. Obviously, name-brand bikes have lots of benefits, such as better warranties, better reputation, etc., but knocking every no-name brand is not fair. You can get way more bike for way less money. It all depends on the buyer and what they want. I wanted some bikes for recreational use and having fun. Someone needing a very dependable bike for work commutes may not want to get what I got. Also, I certainly could have gotten lemons, but that can happen with any brand, especially any electronics (like electric bikes).

I'd hate to live somewhere that this is actually a serious concern lol.

I have never once been stopped or questioned for riding my e-bike anywhere.

Don't blow past people on shared trails doing 30mph and you won't have an issue.

Lots and lots of people here have the Senada Austin (myself included) I love mine, for this 779 it's probably a worthwhile upgrade over the 500 dollar Austin I have but still I'm very happy with mine.

Another thing is that Senada doesn't charge taxes so it's a big savings there too.

I hear what you saying but both have Shimano gears/shifters, aluminum frames, decent tires and from what I have been reading this has upgraded steel motor and hydraulic shocks..what else am I missing?

My Austin which I order for my wife is also coming tomorrow and for me I was eying Aventon Adventure 2 but then this deal for Saber came-up and for half the price of Adventure 2 so might go with this instead.
