"Actually... this U70N/U76N series is not the same class as the regular U7 series. This 100" U70N/U76N series is QLED with 800 nits peak brightness and 256 dimming zones. The U7 series is Mini-LED with close to 1500 nits peak brightness. For context... currently, the largest U7 released is 85", and has over 600 dimming zones."
Great price especially considering the 5 year warranty, install and $100 Google Play GC. It's possible the install company won't come through, and if that's the case you can contact Costco to get the retail value refunded*
Edit: *I was only relaying the idea of a possible refund for the install from Costco as reported in another thread. Now hearing Costco may deny this. YMMV

I have family member who bought a 98" Samsung (older gen) from Bestbuy but didnt opt for the warranty as its "Samsung!". Right after 2 years, panel went out (lines across screen). Neither BB nor Sony covered it. Sony offered them 10% discount on their store instead. I helped them remove the giant TV and they still have it as paperweight in their garage. They replaced it with another 82" TV from Costco.
As someone who's owned this for over 2 weeks and watch it daily, the only 2 downsides are side viewing is average (but thats for most panels in this price range as they are VA panels). And the 4k upscaler is so and so. If u do a lot of cable TV/Dish viewing, the upscaled content is just ok... Even though this panel is rated 800 nits brightness, in real life and to my naked eye, it's past 1000 as it's a bright set (especially in vivd mode and hdr enabled).
But everything else (apps like HBO Max, Prime, Disney) are speculator and 4k videos via Youtube are mind-blowing. And when I purchased mine few weeks back, Costco didnt have mount included so I used my handyman and helped him and I'd rather pay to have it wall mounted. It's 130 lbs but Hisense was nice enough to incl carry handles behind the TV but due to the large screen (it's almost 89 inches wide), it's cumbersome. We got it done but I woudn't be touching that TV anytime soon. So yeah, if u get a deal like this with free mount/install, go for it!
This replaced a 1080p projector+110" DIY screen setup I had in my "man-cave". It's nice to be able to sit in my living room with blinds open and light coming in and still have a home theater like experience unlike my darkened mancave.
In 5 years, if this hits the dust, the $1799 would have paid itself off by then and I can probably replace this with a OLED or 8k TV in the future era!
If you are coming from projector or TV 5-10+ years ago, this would be a huge upgrade.
