not knocking your deal but you can do 2 waffles at once with:
BLACK+DECKER™ Dual Flip Waffle Maker 39.99 with code savebig20

Just keep it sprayed down with a spray oil so the waffles don't stick, then wipe it down with paper towels.. it gets somewhat seasoned over time like a skillet.

It's $40 and makes waffles similar to the huge industrial ones motels use.
Don't drop it on the floor, and you'll be alright.

I have this waffle maker and my wife loves it. We've tried several others, but this one seems to be extremely effective. In for two more :-)

A tad but it's not terrible. Great waffle maker if you are feeding kids!

A reviewer said it's a real pain to clean and the build is flimsy. Do you agree?

I exclusively use this for banana oatmeal waffles with great success! They're filling and a great size, taking no more than 2 min per waffle.

It gets messy if you add too much batter and it spills over the sides, so it's a bit of a learning curve to not add too much. If it does spill, a damp rag makes quick work of it. I don't clean the non stick surface and only use real avocado oil spray, not non stick spray as that don't play well with non stick surfaces, creating a sort of sticky goo that doesn't come off.

I'd immediately buy again if I needed it

Pro tip: add chunks/broken sugar cubes to your waffle batter to get something very close to a real Belgian waffle!

If you're actually serious about waffles, find a Kitchenaid Pro Line KPWB100 waffle maker. Worth its weight in gold.

if you don't have space in your cabinets or on your counters, your local thrift store has space for it

Sweet but how many waffles you want? Your wife's only got 2hands who's going to operate the 3rd.

And yes I have 1 of these I got it a bunch of years ago at Macy's but like everything, even on sale it is sad cause its doubled in price.

We have this one, too. Best waffle maker i've ever owned even though we had a more expensive one before that.

There's even a couple really good recipes in the booklet that comes with it. Might have been the first time that I opened one of those booklets and decided to actually make one of the recipes instead of just tossing them in the recycling.

Cleaning is pretty easy unless you make Liege style waffles that contain pearl sugar.

After owning a Cuisinart food processor made of the cheapest plastic ever that's already cracked twice and had to be sent a new bowl from Cuisinart under warranty, after buying a toaster where the knobs feel like they're going to fall off, and various other products with issues – I don't think I'll ever buy another Cuisinart product again

for cleaning griddles keep a spray bottle with soap and a tsp of baking soda. Keep the griddle warm around 120℉ and spray generousdly . then use a bruch or toothbrush to clean off the stuck batter.

The warm soapy water makes the difference between a 30s and 10 minute cleaning session
