I have one of these and use it relatively frequently (at least once a week). Quality is not the greatest (particularly the mechanism that holds the plates in place), about what you'd expect from modern Cuisinart products, but it does the job. One other complaint is that when you close it on top of a sandwich or whatever you're making, it doesn't close evenly front to back, and you have to press down on it to get it to level out. Since it's hot, you won't want to do it with your bare hand.
