Man i am torn. I am a Fuji shooter XH1 and focus a lot of my time on indoor and outdoor kids sports. XC, Futsal, Soccer, Track, etc. the AF with Fuji is not great and neither is the lens selection, but i make it work with a 50-140 2.8. I am leaning towards a canon r6 II for sports strictly, but just struggle if it's the right choice. This looks like a great way to get into a new canon at refurbished pricing. Still trying to find a 70-200 2.8 mk II to pair it with or something a bit longer.

I got it for the same deal about a week ago. I initially had the R8 but it heated up and shut down automatically at 80 degree weather. It was an awesome camera but when I was looking to replace it, I noticed a number of folks in the online community faced the same issue. So I upgraded to the R6 M ii. You won't regret it at all!!

Wow. R5 Mk II + RF 70-200 2.8L + RF 24-70 2.8L less than 10k. Greentoe is also tax free? So tempting....

I bought the R6 II last Christmas for $1700. I think it will go lower in the coming weeks. Even at $1700, it's a steal. Great for video and photos.

Lol I pre-ordered it and have barely used. Salty. Disappointed in the lens as well. Relies too much on corrections.
