While this is a "good deal" just know that once you do this, you will no longer get any occasional promo on your account

I was month to month due to being free with the credit card, but that expires this month so was going to cancel anyhow. Doing this, managed to get three months at 90% off, so 3 bucks total. Thanks.

I find it depends on the restaurant. I check restaurant prices against Uber prices, and a few of my favorites don't upcharge. With 40% off delivery orders, it balances out to regular pickup prices. I mean, it saves me on deivery and fees, which is ok to me.

Don't get many good promos anymore anyway. Used to get 40% off all the time which made some orders decent but now offers are slim and meager.

I don't recall how I signed up - I signed up nearly a year ago under a promotion that gave me Uber One for a discounted price (maybe 50% off?). I've found that it's useful to have Uber One if you get the monthly credits from Amex Platinum and Amex Gold but I don't think I would pay full price for it.
