Was not given an option. Nor did they offer to switch me after the reported problems.
The phone service is half of the problem, the other half is their total disregard to assist.

You were given the option. There is a link to each network in the OP. Choose the sim based on the network you'd like to use.

OP may have been unaware but you can get their 20 GB plan for $199 so no point in overpaying $45 for 15 GB's.

I purchased my plan through them on Amazon. Was not given the option to select carrier.
Point is, if they know I'm having issues, they could offer to switch me.
The didn't. Instead they ignore all my communications.

$hit company, save yourself the hassle.

I really think it's case by case. they've had some huge discounts. I got 6 months at 5 GB for $20! There was no hotspot and I didn't need to call customer service so I didn't have to endure whatever problems they had.

Now I would not port a number that I cared about with them. I probably would not commit to 12 or 24 months either just because it's such a new company.

To be fair after my 6 months was up I tried again with the 3-month plan and the SIM card didn't work. They refunded my money and then sent me a new SIM card anyway so I effectively got 3 months at 10 GB for free which I'm using now.

I think I paid $32 after discounts and shipping. So effectively 10 bucks a month.

So I think it's a decent option if you need a secondary device or something to supplement a Google voice number.

But I would not port a number I cared about it into it. And they don't support RCS which is obviously a major problem.

If it's a number I really cared about and you want a verizon-based MV&o obviously Total wireless or something or visible is probably a better option maybe even straight talk.

But they do not have deals like this. The difference between paying 10 bucks a month and 25 bucks a month is pretty significant for some people

It's also just a sample size of one. I don't like it when people assume that problems they have mean their universal. Just like if a plan works out for me great I don't assume that's also going to work out for everybody

I do think people should approach this company with caution just cuz it's new and not well known and the prices are so low that you wonder if the business market business model is viable.

But I got 6 months for 20 bucks at 5 GB a month. And it worked great the entire 6 month. No hotspot, no RCS, I didn't have to call customer service but I'm sure if I did it wouldn't have been the most responsive thing in the world.

That's an issue with most cheap prepaids of course.

My technical problems with them might not be Universal. But I highly doubt my customer service issues with them are not. They literally opened a case for me on my issues and then refused to respond after multiple emails over months of time. They are an Indian owned and based company (if you dig deep enough into the FCC records you will see all their ties, regardless if they actually have some physical addresses in the US).and have either a language barrier or a cultural barrier that is antithetical, and possibly even hostile to consumers.

I can't disagree that for some $10 a month is a bigger difference than $15. But you get what you pay for and if you take the risk and have an issue with these folks, you will be looking for another solution and your net costs will be higher had you just gone with a slightly better known MVNO. I'm not here to shill for any particular one, I have switched between many of them (usually twice a year to get the best deals) for over 5 years now. They all have their problems. That being said, my experiences with Infimobile are so much I would never ever recommend them, even at cost.

Seems good deal, but people report very low speeds? Anyone have this, and which do you have Verizon or tmobile?
