I noticed these in the store yesterday, wasn't the Husky version of these like half the price last year?

I'm a handyman looking for a modular system but not trying to break the bank. I realize there will be deals to be had on black Friday. I also see there are so many brands to choose from between both big box stores. Should I prioritize a certain brand when looking for the best deal or should I just avoid certain brands and just pick one?

Honestly, if I were in the market right now (and not already in packout), I would go for exactly this product. The Milwaukee version of this, that we have been waiting on forever, ended up being $300 for their version, and it's still not even out. And you WILL want the drawers on your roller

I would go for Klein or ToughBuilt…However ToughBuilt is having issues with distribution because of Lowe's. I'm a photographer and really prefer having drawers on the lower tiers. I currently have the Husky version and it's decent if you just want the basics. However there's pretty much zero expansion opportunities as of now. Milwaukee is overrated and overpriced. Plus you need to go to Etsy for a lot of the good accessories where fanboys make them on 3d printers…some are decent but you never know what you're going to get.

Thank you both for your feedback! I had to run into Lowes this morning and went out of my way to test out the Klein, tough built, and kobalt rolling box. Really impressed by both Klein and tough built. Kobalt wasn't bad but after testing the other brands there is a difference in quality

I am in the same boat, did a bit of research and will be going with the cheaper of toughbuilt or klein

My major pain point for the most modular system is having to remove all the boxes to access the bottom. I didn't realize that until I purchased the Packout. so the drawer rolling box makes huge difference. Price wise, MODbox is an also very competitive to Packout, especially with the sale. I'll switch to MODbox if they go even lower on Black Friday. There are several reviews on YouTube that compare different available modular boxes, and MODbox stands out pretty well, especially on the newer version that is recently released

Yes, but it won't be released until early next year, and will be priced at $300 from rumors. Even with deals, I think it'll be around ~$200, which I can almost buy a new setup with MODbox. The whole system is a lot cheaper compare to Packout. With Lowe's, there's also 20% coupon you can buy online, which sweeten the deal.

How do you get the 20% off coupon?
