The Kobalt impact driver is on sale with one 2ah battery at the same price and is a much nicer tool. 2x 1.3 aH batteries at 18v with the Craftsman or 1x 2ah at 24v is about the same battery capacity.
IMO Kobalt tools are much nicer than Craftsman and are usually cheaper if you get them on sale. Kobalt batteries are also cheaper.
