I've got the mister on the previous $10 Woot deal. It does a great job of throwing a fine mist up to 20ft away. I have used in the crawl space, no more insects. Also, in the yard, went through all the hedges in order to get rid of the mosquitos. Did a good job as well. It needs to be level or close to it, does not work properly if tilted. It works well with Bifenthrin and Permethrin. No leaks so far.

I bought one in a prior sale because for $20ish hey, why not? But it's sat unused because use cases are slim. One thing I might break it out for next season is speed-coating some of the plants in front of our house with the deer/rabbit deterrent solution our local stores sell. If you have a bad mosquito problem you could also find it useful, but if you have a bad mosquito problem a better solution is to have you/neighbors search your yard and empty out anything that could hold any amount of water.

Which one do you have?

I find I probably don't spray my garden often enough because it's a PITA. I'm thinking one of these might help. But am wondering if it's worth it, or too niche.

Who would have ever paid $220 for this?
I get the feeling that ryobi had to commit to a minimum quantity of these during covid 2020/1 ish when businesses were paying those prices.

Some people were paying $70 for $10 thermometers and these were popular for businesses and required in some municipalities for quick surface disinfecting.

However that ended and they got stuck either with a massive stockpile or in a contract is my guess. I have one because it came "free" with any tool purchase lol.

I bought the smaller fogger/mister with the tank on the bottom. There would be zero chance I would ever use the backpack model, that's just too clunky for my very limited use case, plus worry about leaks onto clothing etc. I want battery powered tools to be quick and convenient.

I'll buy one for spraying plants - always so much wasted so hopefully this will be attracted to the plants. But I noticed there's a 1/2 gal version for $17 that seems a better buy and easier to store and keep clean. https://tools.woot.com/offers/ryo...cnt_wp_0_2
On second thought reviews on HD are really poor... a lot of people complain it won't prime.

we use them to spray down our facilities with prokure, also great for plants and applying foliar treatments. can also spray the outside of your home with pyrethrin / insect treatments. just need to make sure to wear a respirator / mask.

I picked up the fogger for gardening use. For $18 it's pretty much disposable if it doesn't work for my intended use.

Trying to talk myself into this, don't want to add more unused junk to garage. Would this be good for spraying a swing set to prevent spiders/spider webs?

I use this for spraying weed killer on my yard. If I didnt have one already, I'd definitely be in.
Only issue is the hose kinks pretty badly. So, have to use some clamps to take pressure off the pinch points.
Def worth the $25, IMO.
