Need to get a bigger air fryer. We have the normal style in a 4qt. Whats the difference between the toaster style air fryer. Toaster seems more versatile, like it would be better for baking, frozen pizza. Can anyone share the pros and cons? We mostly use ours for making chicken wings or french fries.

I'm fairly certain this is the same one I got from Wal-Mart around BF for ~$35 last year. If I could do it all over again, I'd go for an 8-quart... although this does a solid job with what we throw at it (mostly pizza rolls and french fries). We've also done bacon in it. The bigger size would help large bags of items come out a bit crispier... but if we just do a half bag of fries, it's spot on.

The one last year was the 7 QT Gourmia for $35. I bought it Nov 08, 2023, on the early BF Walmart+ member deal.

Model GAF734.
Old thread from actual BF deal time: https://slickdeals.net/share/android_app/fp/894988

Thee power button is illuminated, but the start button next to it isn't.
I accidentally press the power button constantly thinking it's the start button and it turns it off, then you have to start from scratch on settings again.
Outside of this annoyance, it was an insanely great buy. It crisps things far better than our Cosori 8QT in the main kitchen.
We use the Gourmia near the grill.

Good catch. And same same on the start vs. power button. If I had a nickel for every time...

I picked up this same one from Target yesterday for $35. This morning I put a 2-day-old hamburger in it and baked 6 mins without preheat. It was awesome!!! I love it (FYI power draw measured as between 1.5k and 1.7k watt).

I have a toaster oven style ninja oven one. It's 100% more versatile but the air fryer function on them is not nearly as good. You can't really follow air fryer instructions for them as they don't cook nearly as fast or get as crispy. I'm picking up one of the Gourmia air fryers from Walmart for Mondays Black Friday price.

I have a PowerXL from a couple years back which I feel like the internal temp isnt that accurate (I tend to have to lower the degrees vs what is advised to avoid burning); for anyone who has had both, is this Gourmia worth the upgrade?

I have both and I like this one far better. Feels like much better quality.
