Noisy at times, but mines 8 years old and still going.
Not with this exact model number. I bought 2 of the PRIMO black models #601088, during this sale last year. Both are still running strong
That's the idea …instant hot water ….poured over ground coffee beans.

Had this unit in the past, price was usually $150, not $250. Decent enough, a bit noisy, door latch breaks easily

I'm curious as to what the temp actually is, as pour over coffee is usually at 195f-205f.

Also, the one thing that always dies out fast and requires heavy maintenance/cleaning is the hot water aspect.

I drink spring water, and the minerals will create a bicarbonate buildup. So, in my water cooler, I use spring water. But for my coffees, I use purified.

Most of these units which use the large jugs taste plasticky

Others will say that's nonsense but anyone who ever tried mine (was like $300 at the time a good unit) said the same thing.

There was even an option for my local water delivery to try smaller bottles of different brands and each tasted the same - like plastic.
This makes me wonder whether the 5-gallon plastic jugs are contributing measurable levels of microplastics to our bodies when we ingest the water? Trading one water problem for another? Does any one have some good references on this? Thanks in advance.
