nice, worked for me. the ZIP75 code gives you 12% off with a maximum of $75 off. If you buy 4, that's $72 off. Also note that Zip payment charged me a $6 transaction or borrow fee I forget what they called it.

It's also probably worth mentioning that Zip appears to be a short-term loan payment company like Affirm/Bread/Paypal Buy Now Pay Later. It's gonna force you to take out a short term loan to pay this off.

Thank you, I've never used zip pay before, for the sake of extra $72 saving, I might give it a try

Refurbished hard disks? Like they were used in a data center for two years and then they put new stickers on them?

yep, but likely used for 4-5 years. this has been debated in other similar deals.

That code and using ZipPay only took $20 off (12% like others have mentioned) bringing the total down to $161.56 with taxes, so not really close to the headline price, and putting it in the pricing territory of serverpartdeals.com, a company I have much more experience with than an random NewEgg third party seller.

ohh I wondered why this was so cheap for 16TB. I totally missed the (refurbished) in the title at first.

Any chance this is the same goharddrive (on ebay) that is mentioned in other threads?

Showing $149.99 using ZIP pay. Not sure how to get OP price.

Alternate: eBay showing same HDD, same seller for $156.00 ✌️

No warranty. And having to go through a short term loan payment system just to get a small discount? I would not call this a deal. Any of these drives crap on you after the return window and you might as well just throw them in the garbage bin.
