Makes me wonder, though -- the market is in a weird spot right now between ridding itself of inventory OR waiting until tariffs are active and knowing this could be worth more (aka "inventory profits ")

If we're 100% sure tariffs are coming, the market should already be pricing it in. I don't see that in consumer goods or in the stock market yet. I think most people believe it won't happen. The big boss just has to figure out the message first -- you campaign as tough on China, but once your advisors explain how you're about to destroy the middle class, I think some backpedaling will happen.

$.02, no politics, just economics

Just ordered one. My last scooter was hover-1 blackhawk. I rode that to work every workday for 3 years. It just died 2 weeks ago. Hope that this one can perform at least as good. Finders crossed

That's very interesting. I would've assumed the KQI would've been the marginally superior product due to its suspension. In what way does the Segway make the KQI seem like a toy?
I wasn't too impressed with the suspension on the 100p and while I'm not an expert it almost felt like the suspension was compensating for other deficiencies. The Segway feels much more solid, runs much quieter, and just all around feels like the better product. Like a budget android phone versus an iPhone.

They just reset the ODO in the refurbishing product. Got any pic of it next to your 100p? How's the suspension for the 100p I would have guessed it ride better cause of it 😁 but you're the expert here
Hmm. So it's possible my battery capacity won't be great? I'm not an expert, these were my first scooter purchases. See above comment about suspension.

Just received mine, the condition is pretty fair. Visible scratches in the areas where you'd expect them, however the locking mechanism appears to be a bit insufficient/broken in. I am getting some wobble when the stem is upright. Is there a way to tighten this?

Just got mine, debating on keeping or not due to obvious wear & tear on front, making it an eye sore.

After further review, the culprit was THIS completely bent locking screw. This is extremely dangerous, luckily the play in the stem was so severe I didn't even bother riding it around. Ordered a replacement locking screw to fix this issue.

You should message Segway to get reimbursed for that. Usually they would ship you replacement parts as well

I'm going to send it back. The hook for engaging the mechanism on the handlebar is also not able to latch on properly. I doubt they'll send me a new rear fender + locking nut for free. I'll try my luck with another unit.

They will send you a replacement parts like a fender and screw but since the price is the same probably easier to return and rebuy 👍

Interesting. I didn't know Costco had items in the 4 years return policy. I thought it was 90 days or 10years.

where does it say 4 years?
90 days is for electronics such as laptops, computers, tv, cameras, phones, etc.

i returned over 10+ items ranging from oculus vr set, pillows, clothings, lamps, surfboard, air fryers, pans, rugs, fans, vacuums, and more. all of my returns were 6 months - 4 years of used. most were defective or no longer desirable.
