As these type of deal go, 20% is excellent. ShopRite used to do the same but is now $5 on $50 and $15 on $100. Sure, better than nothing but not as inspiration as it used to be.

The $10 bonus card is a pain to use. You can't save it on the app.

Thanks for sharing. Market Basket in New England last year did a 20% discount on physical gift cards for Black Friday (1 day). Keep your eyes peeled for this year if you are from the area.

You can only use the bonus card from Jan 1 - 31. This is scummy behavior don't buy these.

Even at that discount, the prices are insane. I spend $30 just getting a soup and sandwich. And wtf do they do with the other half of a half sandwich?

I'd be the first to say they're getting expensive, like everywhere else, but I have never spent $20, let alone $30, on a soup and sandwich there.

Get a large soup(which is a normal size) and a whole entire sandwich that isn't cut in half. Most people get their "$30 special", which is actually $35, in my area. That's a half sandwich, a soup, and some bakery thing, with a drink. It's unjustifiable.

The best "fast food" I've found- Panera takes fking forever to make a sandwich- is Wendy's with their app, which has weekly coupons. $6 for a big cobb salad with everything, $6 for 2 giant baconator burgers with everything, and you get free items after every second purchase.
Wages have not gone up since the blue wave collapsed this Country into the dirt. So just a lunch at Panera takes 2 hours every day to work off at Calfornia minimum wage, and 4 hours to work off everywhere else. It's not tenable no matter what the 'deal' is.

I would NOT buy it NOW. I might buy on 12/31/24 and use the bonus card the next day.

Panera sucks now
They discontinued literally every item I went there for except the bacon and cheese souflee.
No more cinnamon raisin swirl loaf😭
No more spinach artichoke souffle 😭
No more pumpkin muffins,😭
Anything that tasted good they took off the menu and left nothing but crap.
I hope they go under for this

This is not 20% off though.

I am not sure why this is a good deal. Besides the limited time for the bonus card redemption, it is not even 20% off that comes around every other month through various retailers or Panera.

FYI: this deal is for $50 for $60 Panera credits, or saving of $10/$60 = 16.7% off. Just wait for the true 20% off deals.

$10 is 20% of $50. It is effectively 20% off.

Oh. I see what you're saying... It's $60 for $50. Ok. fair enough. Sorry

Everybody seems to offer this "bonus card" BS instead of just giving you an actual, usable gift card of that amount. Cinemark is doing the same thing. Two "bonus" cards that are only good starting on January 1 and expiring on February 28.
