Intel N100 is a quad core part but they are all efficiency cores (no performance cores). It's basically equivalent in performance to a midrange chip from 10 years ago. Personally I wouldn't want to use that for any sort of productivity application. It's certainly *possible* though as plenty of people do what you're talking about on worse hardware. The AMD 6800U is going to be twice as fast (or better!) for most tasks.
With the 680M iGPU I don't know of any PC you could get for $200 that would perform better in games.
im 98% sure it has a cpu still since these are laptop grade and soldered down. no socket

Let's say I want to run a PC to look at stock graphs with dual screens. Do you think the N100 is sufficient with 16GB of ram and 512GB HDD or would I need something like this to do that?

N100 is enough but someone handling stock could shell out $100 for decent PC I think?
Experience on this will be smoother, moving windows over the screen is much softer.

Thanks for the reply. I'm thinking of picking this up then. I should be able to run dual monitors at 2k each no problem, do you think?

Well, let's say I'm just a beginner lol. That said, this machine is a lot better, yes?

I have both N100 and this one 5700H (slightly slower version of this) and latter is more pleasant when trading stocks. But I dont do that often, maybe twice a year. Fusion 360 and Meshmixer on the other hand are way nicer. 4K monitor.

I think most Mini PCs these days should be able to handle dual 2k monitors no problemo, including this one.

I found the N100 too slow to run windows smoothly. You'd be much better off buying this or saving some $$ and buying a small used business mini (e.g. HP Pro/Elitedesk).
