Not sold on Samsung fridges - my current one is 7+ years old and other than a flaky icemaker, the freezer door won't stay closed, and the freezer has randomly quit twice lately (thawing everything), it has been ok. I will not be buying Samsung to replace this.

I see it has a water filter but what is it for? Does it make ice in the freezer than dump it in the basket?

I bought this last Friday when my old fridge gave up the ghost. It's a smaller size so be sure it's what you need - we couldn't go any larger. So far it's a definite upgrade but we did pick up the extra warranty because I haven't heard amazing things about Samsung fridges long term. For our limited space it definitely has more volume and I've been happy with it the four days we've now had it 😆

Yes, I own one of these and the water filter is for ice.

Samsung is bad brand. I have Amana 2016 Samsung 2019 then Amana is still working but ss completely stopped working 34 days ago. Ss 3 times service called ice maker broken seal leaking air finally compressor is leaking oil and burned. Just out of warranty 3months and 12 days.

Costco has the mora 22.3 cubic ft and it's only $50 more on direct. Has ice maker as well and is bottom freezer. Mine gets delivered tomorrow if you have questions about it.

No, this should be about $200 less. Dealing with replacing a 2013 Samsung Fridge and not impressed by Korean Quality
