I just wanted something I could mess around with in the garage infrequently, no need for anything fancy. it's FAR nicer & substantial than I expected it would be, and will definitely hold up well for some time. If you're looking for a competition-level board, this ain't it… but I venture for most people it's all they ACTUALLY want/need. Plus, I Hadn't thrown on anything but soft-tips for decades, and I forgot how enjoyable it is throwing on a REAL board! How the darts land and sound, how it feels not having to twist the little buggers to extract them… yum. $10 well spent, imho.
I was so pleasantly surprised…had to come in to post.
P.s. I forgot to mention, the darts themselves are TOTAL TRASH. I'm honestly surprised they lasted through the hour that I used them. If you plan on actually using the board AT ALL or if you're buying as a GIFT, do everyone a favor and get some real darts immediately.
